Keep the entry inspectable

The repository organizes JSON entries beneath Ukrainian prefix directories. The inspected sample separates the word and lemma from part of speech, grammatical attributes, pronunciation, and a list of meanings.

Meanings have English and Ukrainian glosses plus synonym and antonym arrays. A quality object records confidence and completeness values. That structure gives a language application several useful views over the same entry without having to parse a prose paragraph each time.

Metadata is not verification

A numeric confidence field records a claim about quality; it does not independently prove linguistic correctness. Grammatical attributes, IPA, and translations still need validation by appropriate sources and speakers.

The repository did not provide a root README describing provenance or a reviewed corpus-wide evaluation. The observed schema and organization are inspectable; corpus-wide coverage and linguistic accuracy remain separate questions.

Separate shape from meaning

Schema validation can establish that an entry has the expected fields and value types. Linguistic review must establish whether those values are correct. Keeping the two checks separate makes the dataset easier to improve: structural defects can be found mechanically, while uncertain glosses or grammatical attributes can remain visible for editorial review.
